Originally planted in 1988, it was a fortuitous trip to Tasmania by Shaw + Smith founders Michael Hill-Smith MW and Martin Shaw that resulted in the somewhat spontaneous purchase of the Tolpuddle Vineyard in 2011.

Having been awarded the first "Tasmanian Vineyard of the Year" in 2006 and Planted to only Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the single vineyard wines produced by Tolpuddle are consistantly awarded high praise by wine writers from around the world each year. This results in being increasingly sought after by wine lovers and wine lists around the world and we are fortunate enough to be able secure an exclusive allocation of these wines each year to share with you.
